Or second: the hyper focus domino. You’re late / behind on something. You finally start the task and are locked in. Making progress. At last. 90 minutes go by! You’ve crushed this task. But wait were you not supposed to sign for a delivery at minute 45? You check your phone - they tried calling you 5x! Okay, back to hyper focus mode. You focus even harder - reschedule the delivery etc ... perhaps miss another errand I’m exaggerating for humor - but I hope this is relatable! Essentially using hyper focus to fix something that needed to be attended to but in the process putting on blinders
