Hey friends, One of my favorite things about learning I had ADHD was the permission to start using strategies that seemed weird to others, but were effective for me. Like I talked about last week, most typical productivity advice is toxic for me because it doesn’t work with the way my brain works.
Also things like familiar pain in your back, hips, pelvis, joints, feet, stomache, etch. You know, that tired kind of pain. And when you get the proper relief, through shoes, socks, clothing etc. You get this vail lifted of you and you get a powerboost. Possibly something relatef to (or contributing to) over stimulation.
In short, mind your health, fix the things that hold you back (literally).
ADHD can also cause blindness to how you are feeling physically
Can confirm the power of shoes. I work from home and if I stay barefoot I'm way more likely to fall into unproductive hyperfocus. The sensation of shoes reminds me that I should be getting stuff done.
